TOWN OF BROWNINGTON NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS 

Agreeably to the provisions of Title 32. V.S.A., Section 4111, notice is hereby given that the undersigned listers within the Town of Brownington have this day completed the abstract of individual lists of persons, co-partnerships, associations and corporations owning taxable property in said town of the first of April, 2023; that they have this day lodged the same in the office of the Clerk of said town for the inspection of taxpayers; that on the 23rd day of June, 2023, at 8:00 in the forenoon, the undersigned listers will meet at the Brownington Town Clerk’s Office, in Brownington, to hear appeals of taxpayers aggrieved by actions of the listers from whom timely grievances have been received. To be timely, such grievances must be in writing and received (postmarks not accepted) by 22nd day of June, 2023. At the close of grievance hearings, the listers shall make such corrections in the abstract as were determined upon hearing or otherwise. Unless cause to the contrary is shown, the contents of said abstract will, for the tax year 2023, become the grand list of the town of each taxpayer named therein. Given under our hands at Brownington, in the County of Orleans, this 31st day of May, 2023.
